PETZL RIG

The Rig is a compact self-braking descender which allows you to control your descent by unblocking the rope with your hand on the free end of the rope, as well as positioning yourself on the rope without tying off the device.

The handle has an automatic return system which limits your risk in case of an involuntary action by you and its storage position reduces the risk of snagging when it is being carried on your harness.

The safety gate on the moving side plate helps prevent dropping it and helps fit the rope in and aids in passing intermediate anchors.

A pivoting cam lets you take up the slack in your rope and it can also be used to make a reversible hauling system.

• Created for rope access work (expert users only).
• Allows lowering of heavy loads up to 200 kg.
• Made for ropes between 10.5 mm and 11.5 mm in diameter.
• Used in conjunction with a FOOTPRO foot loop and an ASCENSION handled rope clamp it can be used for short ascents.
• Certification CE EN 12841 type C, CE EN 341 class A, NEPA 1983 light use.
