Richard is an ambitious ultramarathon runner who is presently running the entire length of the Bicentennial National Trail from Healesville in Victoria to Cooktown, Queensland – a whopping 5330km. The trail runs the length of the rugged Great Dividing Range through National Parks, over mountains, through valleys, rainforest and desert in remote wilderness areas.
Vicki is the project manager who is also doing a great job promoting SANE Australia, the charity who Richard is running for. Please look on Richard’s website for more information on SANE and ways to donate.
Richard and Vicki have kindly offered to share their experience as they pass through Cairns. This will be a casual meet and greet night from 6pm until about 8pm with soft drink and nibbles provided.
